When opening a model in Canvas, the right side of the screen displays a vertical toolbar with the following categories: Metals, Gemstones, Environments, Backgrounds, and Advanced Settings.

Assigning Metals To assign a metal to a specific part of your design, first click on the metallic geometry. The selected parts will highlight in orange, indicating that they belong to the same layer. Once selected, open the Metals section in the toolbar and choose from the available metal materials, which include both polished and textured options such as gold, silver, and platinum.

Assigning Gemstones To assign materials to gemstones, click on any gem in the model. All geometry located on the same layer will be automatically selected. Then, go to the Gemstones section and choose a material from the available library, which includes a wide variety of colored stones and diamonds optimized for jewelry rendering.

Choosing an Environment In the Environments panel, you can select from a range of predefined lighting setups. The default environment is named Barcelona, but others are available to help showcase different aspects of the design, such as reflections, brilliance, or surface detail.

Changing Backgrounds The Backgrounds section allows you to customize the visual context of your render. Options include:

  • Gradient backgrounds with color transitions

  • Pastel-toned backgrounds

  • Neutral or grey backgrounds suitable for presentations or catalogs

Advanced Settings The Advanced Settings panel gives you access to fine adjustments that control the final appearance of the render. These include:

  • Reflection and gloss settings

  • Depth of field and blur

  • Bloom

  • Vignette

  • Other visual enhancements

These tools allow you to refine the aesthetic of your render to suit your presentation goals, whether for internal review, client presentation, or marketing purposes.
