# Shank Helix

### **Step 1**: Helix Command

Go to the **Curve** tab, select the **Helix** command.

### **Step 2**: Create the Helix

In the command prompt, type **0** as the start of the axis and press **Enter**.

**Step 3**: With **Ortho mode** enabled, set **6 millimeters** for the axis and click the green line in the perspective viewport.

**Step 4**: In the command prompt, switch to **Diameter** mode, set **Turns** to **1.25**, and enter **17.19 millimeters** for the diameter.

**Step 5**: From the front view, select the top as the creation point of the helix.
