This command allows you to set a selected gem into a Peghead configuration.
Running this command will display its parameters in the Commands toolbar. Your first step is to select the stone on which the Peg Head will be applied. Next, decide whether to start with a pre-designed style from the Peg Head gallery provided by RhinoArtisan or to modify the current style displayed in the viewport. To create a new design based on the current style, simply click the "Edit" button.
Once you edit the one you have selected or the one in the viewport, the parameters will be shown in the Command Panel. Here, you can set the number of prongs and their orientation. The parameters also include the prong configuration and thickness, the height over the gem's girdle, the whole peg head height, the width of prongs next to the girdle, and the overlapping distance inside the gem.
This element is editable, meaning it can be modified anytime.
