# Use Curator

### **Step 1: Create Categories**

To create a new category in Curator, click on Create a Folder, in the upper right corner of the Curator panel, which is in the lower left corner of the screen.

### **Step 2: Name it**

Name it "RhinoArtisan Tutorial."

As you can see, a new empty category has been created.

### **Step 3: Add Elements**

Now we will add our elements:

Select the gem and the basket, and Add a New Curator File, by clicking on the button in the upper right corner of the panel, as shown in the image below. Name it and save it.

Do the same with the subD.

To verify that it has been saved, close and reopen RhinoArtisan. Once opened, go to the Curator panel and check that our category and elements are still there.
