Shank

In this lesson, we will focus on designing the shank, the foundational band of your ring.

Step 1: Shank Commnad

Go to the "Shanks" tab (1) and select the "Classic" command (2).

Step 2: Classic Library

From the RhinoArtisan library, choose the model "CL001" (1), then click on Edit (2).

TIP: Use the shaded mode for better visualization of the model. Change it in the right corner of each viewport. (1)Wireframe - (2) Shaded

Step 3: Shank Parameters

Adjust the parameters of the model by changing the Height to 1.5 millimeters.

Step 4: Click "Accept" to finalize the shank design.
