# Sweep rails

### **Step 1**: Sweep 1 Rail Command

With the two profiles created, go to the **Surface** tab and select the **Sweep 1 Rail** command.

### **Step 2**: Create the Sweep

Select the **helix**, then the **upper rail**, and finally the **lower rail**.

### **Step 3**: Ajust Seam

Press **Enter**. Adjust the **seam point** like in the image, so that both arrows point in the same direction. Do it from the **Top View**.

### **Step 4: Sweep Result**

**Press enter.** In the options panel, leave the default values. Press **OK**.
