The Preload command is used to prearrange all the designs you want to print on the printer tray, including the number of copies created using the Copies command.
Command Structure
Selection Panel:
Allows you to select the meshes of the designs you wish to print.
Parameters Panel:
Define the dimensions of the printer tray you’ll use.
Set the distance to maintain between different objects.
Arrange pieces in the tray using several layout modes based on specific characteristics of each piece. These modes include:
Try By Area: Arranges pieces based on their area, from largest to smallest.
By Perimeter: Organizes pieces by perimeter length, from largest to smallest.
By Bigger Side: Sorts pieces based on their longest side, from largest to smallest.
By Width: Sorts pieces by their width, from largest to smallest.
By Height: Organizes pieces by height, from tallest to shortest.
By Pathological Multiplier: Uses a pathological multiplier for specialized arrangement.
These modes help users choose how to efficiently utilize tray space.
Complementary Commands
The Preload command works seamlessly with other commands like Import Layers, Distribute, Copies, and Quick Check, enabling you to prepare your printing session with just a few clicks for designs developed in RhinoArtisan.
