# Reference Curve and Gem

### **Step 1: Reference Curve an Gem**

Go to the "Shanks" tab and select the "Curve" command to create a reference curve.

### **Step 2: Ring Size**

Set the region to **United States of America** and choose size **7**.

### **Step 3: Quick Gems Panel**

In the **Quick Gems** panel, create a **1-carat gem**.

### **Step 4: Gem Position**&#x20;

Select the gem, then go to the "Transform" tab and use the **Move** command.

Enable the **Osnap** aids, ensuring that **Vertex** and **Mid** are activated.

Select the **bottom point** of the gem and move it to the **top** of the curve.&#x20;

Then using the gumball, move the gem **up by 0.85 millimeters** to position it correctly.
