### What is the Components module in RhinoArtisan ?

**Components** is a specialized library of jewelry design elements intended to accelerate the creation of custom pieces. Unlike **Boutique**, which focuses on complete designs, **Components** offers individual parts commonly used in jewelry-making—such as **bezels**, **baskets**, **classic shanks**, **cathedral shanks**, **ornaments**, **findings**, and more.

These building blocks allow you to assemble fully customized designs with greater speed and consistency, combining professional-grade elements while maintaining creative flexibility.

### How Does It Work?

The first time you click the **Components** button in the **File** menu, RhinoArtisan will prompt you to download the available component collections. Once downloaded, they are automatically installed in your user folder and become accessible within the Components module.

### Opening the Components Window

When you open **Components**, a window appears displaying the cover images of the available collections. Clicking on a collection opens it and reveals the individual components inside, each shown with a name and a brief description.

Clicking on a component inserts it directly into the RhinoArtisan viewport, ready to be edited, positioned, and incorporated into your design.

In the ring collections, you can now choose the size at which you want the design to appear in the viewport.

Additionally, when using presets such as **Bezels**, **Baskets**, **Pegheads**, **Halos**, and **Clusters**, you can select the stone size, material, and the gem's measurements, either in carats or millimeters. These options will be available in a selector located at the top right of each corresponding collection, giving you full control over the design and gem specifications.\
**The Components window stays open**, allowing you to keep browsing and adding parts without interrupting your workflow.
