# How can I update Rhino?

Having Rhinoceros installed with the most recent version is crucial for stability and security reasons. Here is how to check if you have the latest version and how to update it.

In the **Help** menu, click on **Check for Updates...**

The following window will show you if you have the latest version. Please check the **Enable Updates and Usage Statistics** option is enabled.
