Co-design
The Co-Designer is the AI-assisted design panel inside RhinoArtisan, powered by our intelligent agent Èrica Verdaguer.
Èrica is a 3D jewelry design and modeling agent specialized in RhinoArtisan. She understands how RhinoArtisan works and assists you with all the modifications, adjustments, and design changes you want to apply to your jewelry models.
How the Co-Designer Works
Èrica can:
Modify and edit existing jewelry designs
Create new elements or adjust parts of a model
Apply transformations, refinements, or structural changes
Help automate repetitive modeling tasks
Assist you using natural language instead of technical commands
Extract detailed information from your design (dimensions, structure, stones, profiles, thicknesses, weights…)
Verify whether a design meets the quality standards of a specific client, based on the parameters you define in natural language in the AI Agent panel inside Connect
Provide Pricing estimates based on model attributes, materials, volumes, and client-specific criteria
Generate a Technical Report, summarizing structural data, measurements, materials, stone details, tolerances, and any other technical insights required for production or client approval
Èrica not only accelerates the modeling process, she also acts as your design analyst, verifier, and production assistant.
Before You Start
To use the Co-Designer, you must be logged into your Connect account. The Co-Designer requires authentication through Connect to:
Access your AI Agent (Èrica Verdaguer)
Load your preferences
Apply your quality standards and client-specific rules
If you are not logged in, the Co-Designer panel will not function.
Accessing the Co-Designer Panel
To open the Co-Designer panel inside RhinoArtisan:
Go to the File menu.
Select Co-Design.
The Co-Designer panel will open in a floating window.
For the best workflow, we recommend anchoring it on the left side of the interface, next to the standard RhinoArtisan panels such as:
Layers
Quick Gems
Curator
This placement keeps the Co-Designer easily accessible while you work on your models.

What You Can Do in the Co-Designer Panel
From this panel, you can:
Type natural-language instructions for Èrica
Ask her to modify your current model
Request structural changes or stylistic refinements
Generate new design proposals
Adjust dimensions, profiles, stone settings, galleries, shanks, pavés, and more
Retrieve technical details from any part of the model
Check if a design follows the quality rules, tolerances, and specifications defined for a particular client
Request Pricing estimations adapted to your materials, client constraints, or production workflow
Generate a full Technical Report ready for manufacturing partners or client approval
Èrica interprets your requests and executes them directly inside RhinoArtisan, combining modeling skills with analytical and production-oriented capabilities.
