The Gems by 2 Curves command allows you to place gemstones along two defining curves, with the size of each gemstone automatically determined by the distance between these curves. This approach creates a dynamic and responsive gem distribution that adapts to the spacing between the curves.
How It Works:
Curve Selection: You start by selecting two curves that define the path and size of the gemstones. The gemstones are placed between these two curves, and their size adjusts according to the distance between them.
Automatic Gem Size and Count: Unlike other gem placement commands where you define the number and size of the stones, in the Gems by 2 Curves command, the gemstones' number and size are automatically determined based on the distance between the two curves. This ensures that the gemstones fit perfectly within the space provided.
Parameter Control:
Gems Distance: In the parameters tab, you can control the "gems distance," which defines the space between each gemstone. Adjusting this parameter allows you to achieve the desired spacing for your design.
Vertical Movement (Z-axis): You can also move the gemstones along the Z-axis, allowing for vertical adjustments to fine-tune their position relative to the curves.
Alignment: The gemstones can be aligned either from the table (the top surface of the gemstone) or from the girdle (the widest part). This alignment option helps you control the orientation of the gemstones, ensuring they are positioned as needed for your design.
