Three Ways to Train and Personalize Your AI
Co-designer is more than an AI-powered design assistant—it's a system you can fully customize to match your company’s standards, language, and workflows. All customization is managed through the Connect platform, where you can shape the AI’s behavior, add internal knowledge, and define the personality it uses when interacting with your team.
This section explains how it works and how you can tailor the AI to your needs.
Accessing Connect and meeting Erica Verdaguer
To configure or personalize your AI, log in to your Connect account: https://connect.rhinoartisan.com/
Inside Connect, go to the AI Agents section:

There you will see Erica Verdaguer, the persona we created for Co-designer.

Erica serves as a humanized identity designed to:
make interactions more natural,
respond clearly and consistently,
maintain a friendly conversational tone,
and improve context understanding during long sessions.
This personality is not fixed. You can expand it, adjust it, or replace it with a custom persona tailored specifically to your brand or workflow.

Training and personalizing your AI
Connect allows you to add the knowledge you want Co-designer to understand and use. This lets you adapt the AI to your company’s products, processes, terminology, and internal standards.

There are three ways to add your own information and train the Co-designer AI inside Connect. You can use Custom Prompts to define behaviour and global rules, upload Documents (such as PDFs, Word files or text) to provide internal knowledge and standards, or set up Webhooks to connect the AI directly with your systems and databases. Each method allows you to tailor the AI to your company’s needs and ensure it understands your products, processes, and workflow.

1. Custom Prompts — Flexible, simple and instant
Custom Prompts allow you to add behavioural instructions or global rules that the AI will always follow. They are useful for defining tone, priorities, stylistic preferences, or specific interpretation rules.
At the same time, Custom Prompts are the simplest and most dynamic way to add information or instructions to your AI. You can write anything you can imagine, such as:
“Always use this currency.”
“Use this quality of diamonds.”
“Never use prongs smaller than X mm.”
“When I ask for pricing, present it in this specific format.”
“Follow this standard when preparing a design for production.”
Just write it — and the AI will follow it automatically.
One of the most powerful features is that you can also define customer-specific requirements. For example:
Client A → strict technical rules, specific tolerances, preferred prong types
Client C → a completely different set of design or production standards
There are no limits: you can create as many prompts as you need.
And you remain in full control — you can Enable or Disable each prompt at any time, depending on the customer, the workflow, or your current project.
2. Documents — Upload your internal knowledge
Documents allow you to upload internal knowledge so Co-designer can understand the specific standards, processes and terminology of your company. You can upload:
PDFs
Word files (DOC, DOCX)
Text files (TXT)
Internal guides
Manuals or specifications
Brand guidelines
Production checklists
Quality standards
Gemstone or metal policies
Internal procedures
Anything you upload becomes part of the AI’s knowledge base.
This method is ideal when you want Co-designer to:
follow your internal rules,
understand your workflow,
use your naming conventions,
recognise your product categories,
or access long-form information that would be too large for a prompt.
Documents are especially useful for teams that already have established procedures or technical documentation. Once uploaded, Co-designer will use this information automatically whenever it’s relevant — no extra instructions needed.
3. Webhooks — Real-time data and system integration
Webhooks allow you to connect Co-designer directly with your own systems, databases or APIs.
This unlocks advanced possibilities such as:
retrieving real-time prices
connecting to your ERP, PIM or CMS
accessing gemstone or metal inventories
reading production progress
consulting internal quotation tools
interacting with your custom services
With Webhooks, Co-designer becomes fully integrated into your digital ecosystem.
